Connecting your camera cable

The Canopy Pickup Cam cables are designed with durability in mind, ensuring the system is prepared for the job site, trail, and whatever else you have planned!

Aligning the cable notch.

Before connecting the cable, locate the cable's notch. With your Pickup Cam facing the window, this notch should point directly to the left.

Insert the cable.

Align the notch with the corresponding shape in the port. For a secure fit, wiggle the cable slightly and press down. 

Confirm the connection.

Test your connection by ensuring the cable is fully seated and cannot easily pull out. If it's firmly in place, you've done it right. If it slides out easily, realign and try again.

Seal the connection.

After verifying your connection, screw on the collar to ensure a weather-tight seal. This can be tricky - as even a small indentation should not be showing when plugged in correctly. This closeup shows a correctly screwed on cable collar. 

In comparison, the image below is NOT correct - you can see a slight indent on the cable in this image, which when inserted correctly would not be visible above the collar.
