Canopy Limited Product Warranty

Congratulations on your purchase! We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our product, consisting of the Canopy Hub and Pickup Cam (“Product”).

What does your warranty cover?

Canopy’s Product is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship during normal and customary use for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase by the original customer (the “Warranty Period”). When you receive your Product, you should carefully read all accompanying instructions before you use the Product. Failure to properly follow our instructions for the Products will void the warranty.

During the Warranty Period, Canopy will either, at our sole option, repair or replace your Product within a reasonable period of time and free of charge. The replacement components and/or Products will be new or serviceably used, comparable in function and performance to the original component, and warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period [or 30 days, whichever is longer].

This warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners of the Product.

What is excluded from the warranty?

This warranty does not cover defects resulting from improper, neglectful, or unreasonable use or maintenance; wear and tear; failure to follow operating instructions; accident; excess moisture; exposure to water or fire; cosmetic damage; loss; electrical surge; impact damage; unauthorized alteration or modification of original condition; disassembly; damages caused by use with non-Canopy products or software.

As described below, you are obligated to contact our Customer Care team to troubleshoot Product issues before initiating a warranty service request. Failure to comply with this obligation may result in a denial of the warranty service request.

How do I start a warranty service request?

In the event that you encounter an issue with your Product within the Warranty Period, you may initiate warranty service as follows:

  1. Contact Customer Care: Reach out to our Customer Care team through the provided support channels, email help@canopy.security
  2. Troubleshooting: Work with our Customer Care representatives to troubleshoot the issue. They may guide you through some diagnostic steps aimed at determining the problem.
  3. Verification: If it is determined by Canopy that the Product is eligible for return based on the warranty, then Customer Care will initiate the warranty service process, during which you will be required to provide certain information and documentation, including your original proof of purchase, contact information, the Product serial number, and a clear description of the issue.

How do I return a Product for warranty service?

Our Customer Care representatives will provide you with a return merchandise authorization number (RMA) and the address of the warranty center where you can send the Product. [Your RMA number will expire 30 days from the date it was issued to you, so please ensure that you send your Product to us as soon as possible.] We recommend that you send your package via a national carrier that can provide a tracking number and insurance, such as UPS or FedEx. Adequate padding should be placed inside the box with the Product to protect against movement and impact. Please note that Canopy undertakes no responsibility for shipping the returned Products and will not be held liable for damages to Products due to improper packing or shipping mishaps. Upon confirmation of warranty eligibility, Canopy will pay shipping, insurance, and taxes, to have your Product returned and / or replaced at our sole discretion.

We value your satisfaction and aim to make the warranty service process as smooth as possible. If you have any questions or concerns about our warranty policy, please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care team.
