We constantly work to improve your experience with the Canopy Pickup Cam. Below, you will find a summary of our latest firmware updates with a list of items added, changed, or improved:

Pickup Cam System Versions

23 (February 12, 2023)

Stability Boost: We fixed the glitches that caused freezes and crashes, especially during updates.
Sharper Detection: We fine-tuned the radar to monitor the area around your vehicle better.
Smarter Connections: Updates and some features only kick in when your camera is connected, making troubleshooting easier.
Better Battery Info: Now, it's clearer when your battery is low or charging, and you'll get more accurate battery readings.
User-Friendly Alerts: We added easy-to-see lights and sounds to let you know when things are resetting.
Other Fixes: We tackled other small issues like the device turning off in cold weather, problems with video uploads, and slow startups.

20.1 (December 11, 2023)

Reduce False Alerts: The Pickup Cam can better understand the area surrounding your vehicle when it's parked to help avoid unnecessary alerts
Updated battery charging logic to accommodate colder weather
Fixed an issue where the LEDs were staying on for an extended length of time
Fixed an issue where the battery would not charge after it passed a certain percentage

19 (November 14, 2023)

Battery Life Improvements: We understand the importance of having reliable security. We have optimized how power is managed by the Canopy system to improve the overall battery life.
Device Cycle Indication: You will see 4 LED lights blinking now when the system is booting up. This will help you understand the current state of your device.
Updated LEDs: The LEDs on the Cam during day and night modes have been tweaked to deliver more illumination when it’s most needed.
Enhanced Detection of Vehicle Motion: Updated the system’s ability to detect when your vehicle is parked, while being sure not to actively monitor during times your truck is being driven.
Improved Threat Detection: Fixed a bug that prevented us to miss potential threats during times of low overall activity, ensuring the Pickup Cam is always protecting your gear.
