In very specific situations, our team may request that you perform a procedure to update the firmware on your Canopy Pickup Cam Camera. This should only be done when instructed. To do this, the sequence of events below must be followed:
Step 1: Remove the battery and ensure it's charged
Step 2: Unplug the camera cable from port 01 on the Hub
Step 3: Install the battery back into the Hub. Make sure all LEDs stop blinking before proceeding
Step 4: Perform a Factory Reset:
- Use a paperclip or safety pin to press inside the reset pinhole
- Hold for 20 seconds until you hear two loud reset beeps
- The exact sound you should listen for is featured in the video below
Step 5: Immediately after hearing the beeps, reconnect the camera cable to port 01 on the Hub
Step 6: Allow the device to factory reset and reboot, which will take approximately 10 minutes
Your device should show as "Connected" in the Canopy app when the process is complete.
