Canopy app shows “battery is low and needs to be charged”

If you're seeing this message, it means that your system's battery percentage has fallen too low, requiring you to remove it from the Hub and charge using the provided power adapter.

Removing the battery for charging

  1. Locate the four screws on the battery faceplate of your Canopy Hub.
  2. Using the multipurpose tool and T8 star bit provided, remove these screws to access the battery compartment.
  3. Pull up on the orange fabric loop to disconnect the battery.

Charging the battery

  1. Start by removing the battery from the Canopy Hub
  2. Using the provided USB-C power adapter, connect the battery to a wall outlet. Please do not use a third-party USB-C charger to charge the removable battery, as it may impact battery performance.
  3. From a low charge, the battery's single green LED indicator will start flashing quickly. As the battery charges and gets closer to being fully charged, the rate of the flashing will slow down.
  4. Charging from zero to full takes about 5 hours. Once the battery reaches full charge, the LED will automatically turn off.

After fully charging the battery, re-install it into the Hub. Wait about 5 minutes for the system to power on. If you are still seeing this message after charging your battery, please reach out to our Customer Care team for further troubleshooting.
