At Canopy, we are continuously working to enhance your experience by regularly rolling out new features and improvements. These OTA (Over-the-Air) updates are sent automatically to your device.
Here's what you can expect when a new update becomes available:
- Every 2-6 weeks, our team checks if your device is online to receive an update. If your system is offline, just fully charge it, and our team will send the update when it’s back online.
- During the update, expect a temporary pause in device functionality. You will notice a "Pickup Cam is disconnected" notification. Updates typically take 10 minutes to install, but may take longer. Make sure your device stays connected to power and the internet while installing the update.
- The Canopy app will notify you once your device is ready to use again.
For a smooth update process, keep your system's battery charged. A low battery may cause the update to fail. If any issues arise, you will receive an update failed notification. If this happens, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our customer care team—we’re here to help!
