Step 4: Set your Detection Zone

For the Pickup Cam to monitor your truck bed, it needs to learn the dimensions and boundaries of the bed. With the dimensions and a clear view of your truck bed, the system will intelligently calibrate its detection zone.

1. Test your live stream to confirm the camera has a clear view of the entire truck bed border. In some cases it may take a few minutes for the video to load.
   
2. Enter the length and width of your truck bed as close as possible to the edge of the bed. We recommend checking online for your specific truck bed dimensions.
   
3. Follow these tips to help ensure a successful calibration:
   
   • Make sure your truck bed is well lit
   • Remove any objects that may be blocking the camera's view of the truck bed.
   • Avoid having people in the frame during calibration. Stand near the front of your vehicle, away from the truck bed.
